2008，北京，中国。百年奥运，寄予着中华民族百年的梦！
回首往事，我们的期待承载着多少辛酸与泪水，多少喜悦与激动！
但是我们不畏艰难，海内外的中华儿女众志成城，使我们终于即将迎来象征全世界和平精神的体育盛会，向世界人民展现九州大地、华夏文明的
古朴与神韵。
在这个举世期待的时刻，作为海外的中华儿女，我们想要用自己的名字来谱写对祖国母亲的感恩与思念
由留美华人志愿者们发起的“海外赤子心，签名祝奥运”活动为您提供一个爱国平台。
本次活动正式推广于2008年8月8日北京奥运会开幕前28天之际，由在美华人志愿者及相关组织共同主办发起，于公益网站www.lovechinaoverse
as.com线上签名，活动结束后由美国当地生成签名图片并喷印成画布。最后将签名画布空运邮寄到北京奥组委，整次活动结束。

China is the great nation on earth with over FIVE THOUSAND years of rich and splendid history with both oriental ancient civilization and

Starting 4th century B.C., Olympia, the site of the ancient Olympic Games, is used to house the judges of the Games, to show the physical
qualities and evolution of the performancesaccomplished by young people, as well as encouraging good relations among people.
In 1896, the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in Athens;in the same year Chiao Tung(Jiao Tong) University, one of the
oldest Universities of China was founded in Shanghai. The Olympic Rings as an image of Olympism, signify the union between people.
This is the road to Beijing 2008. It is A HUNDRED year of Olympic dream and it is coming true in Beijing, the host of the unprecedented
Olympics of any Summer Olympics in history when the Games ofthe XXIX Olympiad commence on August 8, 2008.

The relay with the theme "Journey of Harmony", is expected to last 129 days and carry the torch for 137,000 km (85,000 mi) the longest
distance of any Olympic torch relay. Inspired by the Olympic ideals, people from all over the world strive for a bright future of Mankind. In
spite of the differences in colors, languages and races, we share the charm and joy of the Olympic Games, and together we seek for
the ideal of Mankind for peace and for passionate movement of "faster, higher, and stronger".

THE Greatest Show on Earthis now just around the corner.About 10,500 athletes from across the globe will descend on Beijing in
China for the 29th Olympic Games from August 8-24. They will compete in 302 events across 28 sports and the action is expected
to attract more than four billion TV viewers worldwide. In US for the first time, the average American will be able to create their own
unique Olympic experience whether at home, at the office or on-the-go.
